Karen’s message is all about healing and love – whether singing one of her positive message songs or sharing stories that are funny, inspiring, and heart opening. She is a keynote speaker, women’s retreat facilitator, and entertainer who has recorded 20 CDs of her inspirational music. Karen is also the author of the best selling book “Let Go of the Shore - Songs & Stories To Set The Spirit Free.” Her chants and songs are used around the world and often help people deal with illness and loss, or help them fill the need to feel more centered for the day. Karen’s intention is to make a difference by using her music to open hearts and share a message of hope, acceptance, and love.

After a long and challenging year with the pandemic, Sr. Bobbi invites you to join her for an inspiring and uplifting gathering featuring musician Karen Drucker. Karen’s music has inspired Sr. Bobbi in her work with Boundless Compassion and has been a source of encouragement for many who have experienced suffering in their own life or that of others. This afternoon retreat will provide contemplative music and thoughtful reflection on compassion in its various aspects i.e. compassion to self, compassion for creation and more. Enjoy music to lead you into stillness and to enhance your interaction with other individuals who value being a compassionate presence in our world.

Boundless Compassion unpacks the Christian understanding of compassion with Jesus as our model. This includes teachings from other world religions, that are incorporated in our understanding of Boundless Compassion.
Trained facilitators lead this 3-part hybrid retreat that teaches practical ways to be a compassionate presence. An individual can just attend the weekend and not the virtual gatherings.

A minimum of 3 months centering prayer practice is required to attend.
Join Sr. Bobbi in discussing Richard Rohr’s newest book, The Tears of Things. It is a great way to bring the Old Testament prophets into our lives today. This is a 5-session series. While the chapters are short, the reflection on the material brings depth to the discussions. This series will use the book, CAC videos, reflection questions, and chapter highlights to provide insight and discussion.
