On Your Journey into 2019, Trust Your Inner Voice

As we move forward into a new year it seems appropriate to pause and thank God for the goodness of the past year(s).

We leap into 2019 fully assured of the forever love of the Trinity - with us in all of life - in all our joys - and all our challenges.

It struck me on Epiphany, when praying with the Three Wise Men, how their journey is our journey.

Each year we ready ourselves to meet the Lord - part of the journey is acknowledging we need the Lord, preparing ourselves for the journey, recognizing the gifts we have to offer and traveling the path to the Lord.

Along the journey we listen for direction and for the path best for our soul.

The Wise Men heard the Lord along the way and changed their direction. They heard the false voice of Herod and replaced it with the light of the Lord - the inner voice of the Divine showing them the way they should go.

Trust your inner voice just as they did.
