Prioress Susan Hutchens Welcomes Bishop Tylka

We, the Sisters of St. Benedict, Rock Island, extend a heartfelt Benedictine welcome to Bishop Louis Tylka. We are delighted to walk and work together as you lead the Diocese of Peoria.

As a community that embraces the value of prayer, community and hospitality, we receive you as a presence of Christ in our midst. In joy, we share the gift of promoting peace and recognizing that equal justice for all is a God-given right of all humanity.
