Sister Celine Frawley, O.S.B., 1908-

A service for Sister Celine Frawley of St. Mary’s Priory at Nauvoo, who died Wednesday at Geneseo, Ill., will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Mary Priory, Nauvoo, with the Rev. John Wissing officiating.

Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

She will lie in state at the Nauvoo Priory from 3 p.m. today until the time of the service Friday.

She was born July 12, 1908 at Utica, Ill., the daughter of Edward David and Agnes Fitzgerald Frawley.

She was a retired dietician and had lived in St. Mary’s Priory for 51 years.

Survivors include a sister, Loretta Heath, of Ottawa, Ill.
