Terracycling: Recyling Non-Recyclables! - National Catholic Sisters Week 2022
The Sisters at St. Mary Monastery participate in a program called Terracycle. We are asking you now if you would want to cooperate in recycling so many things that general recycling doesn’t accept? Toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, pens, mechanical pencils, markers, snack bags, candy wrappers, coffee bags, batteries, cartridges, Christmas lights, and more??

Terracycle is a US company that recycles hard or non-recyclable items to turn them into raw materials for new products.
In the last two years Karen and her helpers collected about a ton of recyclable trash, in 2021 they also collected about a ton of recyclable Christmas lights.
