Third Sunday of Advent - A Reflection

The desert and the parched land will exult; 

the steppe will rejoice and bloom.

They will bloom with abundant flowers,

and rejoice with joyful song.

Advent - Third Sunday

Joy in pondering bloom while surrounded by cold and snow

Joy in anticipating what is to come

Joy in knowing waiting will soon end

Joy in perceiving celebration is near

Joy in realizing the Lord has come to save us
