Benet House is an official chapter of the International Thomas Merton Society (International Merton Society). The chapter meets monthly to read, discuss, and grow in the understanding of Merton’s life and writings. Videoes, articles, books, speakers, and features from Tuesday With Merton are some of the resources used. This is the overnight retreat for our ongoing series.

4 p.m. - arrival (optional)
6:45 - Session I with Judith Valente ‘Day of a Stranger” narrated by Thomas Merton
5 p.m. - Vespers (optional)
5:30 p.m. - Dinner (optional)
Saturday, Nov 8:
Breakfast on your own at Benet House
9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - Session II with Judith Valente about Dorothy Day
12:00 noon - Lunch
1:15 p.m. - Session III with Judith Valente about Thomas Merton
3:00 p.m. - Closing
Cost:
Private room: $165 (covers speaker fee, meal, private room, materials)
Double room $150 (covers speaker fee, meal, double room, materials)
Commuter: $91 (covers speaker fee, meal, facility fee, materials)
Zoom: $82 (covers speaker fee, materials, Zoom fee)
*Add $15 if coming on Friday for dinner.
