How to Retell Your Story

Come to the quietness of Benet House! Leave the world behind and give yourself the time to write chapters of your story!

Using Diane Millis’ book Re-Creating A Life, Learning How To Tell Our Most Life-Giving Story, you will discover the power of narrative storytelling in shaping how we perceive ourselves, and how we are perceived by others.

Explore various storytelling techniques and develop eyes to see and ears to hear new stories from your life.

Date and times: Friday, Aug. 14: 9:00 am – Sunday, Aug. 15: 3:00 pm

Retreat leaders: Lorene Knobbe. Lorene is a Spiritual Director, Boundless Compassion facilitator, a regular retreat presenter at Benet House, a retired educator and active at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Davenport, Iowa

Cost: Registration and payment in full by July 14: $250.00 (single room); $220.00 (double room); $145.00 (commuter). Registration after July 14: $265 (single room); $235 (double room); $160 (commuter) Cost includes private room, meals, materials and presenter fee.
