Personal Retreats

Engaging in a personal retreat at Benet House Retreat Center offers you an opportunity to step out of the stress and distractions of daily life.
Within our sacred space, renew yourself with peace, prayer, personal relaxation and guidance of the Spirit.
Rather than a designed itinerary, personal retreats are self-directed experiences within a supportive spiritual framework.
Reserve your personal retreat dates in a private single room with private bathroom (see room rates).
You will have:

• Access to a common kitchen and living area in Benet House.

• A simple breakfast, on your own, in the common kitchen is included in the overnight stay. 

• You can reserve lunch and dinner in the Monastery dining hall at an additional cost.

• Access to library, daily prayers, nature paths, day chapel and quiet places

Craft a retreat suited to your personal needs, whether that's deep prayer and spiritual practice, rest and reflection, reading, writing or reconnecting with God through nature.  A personal retreat is ideal for those seeking to rest and restore in this sacred spiritual place, set apart.

Personal Retreat in the Hermitage Studio
For those seeking a secluded retreat, Benet House's Hermitage offers a bedroom, bath, kitchen, and living room, as well as a private patio. Your stay includes a simple continental breakfast. Hermitage Retreat requires a minimum 3-night stay.

Spiritual Direction while on Personal Retreat
If you would like to schedule a Spiritual Direction session while on personal retreat, please let us know in advance.

Benet House Retreat Center is available for those who wish to lead their own
Half Day or Full Day or Evening or Overnight retreat/program.

Benet House offers retreat and meeting spaces:

• One Large Meeting Room with tables, cozy upholstered armchairs, fireplace and adjoining kitchen (Up to 42)

• One Small Conference Room (Up to 24)

• 2- Living Areas with Kitchenettes and Porches

• Day Chapel

• Accessible outdoor entrances.

• Chairs and tables, Wi-Fi, screen, projector, sound system available. 

• Meal service and snack options are available from our monastery dining hall.
  Or bring your own food.

Benet House Retreat Center has 14 guest rooms with private baths,
which can accommodate up to 28 guests (double occupancy) for your overnight retreat.
