Dear Friend,

With summer fun and festivals in full swing, the Benedictine Sisters of St. Mary Monastery in Rock Island ask you to think of something other than celebrations.

We ask you to come together in prayer for justice for suffering families, including putting an end to the zero-tolerance policy, closing family detention centers, and ensuring the reunification of every single family.

"Our faith demands that we speak out for and stand in solidarity with all who are hurting," Prioress Sister Sandra Brunenn, OSB says.

"Please join us as we raise our voices against inhumane policies and practices."

Keep Todas Familias Together prayer service will be held Saturday, July 14 at 10 a.m. at the monastery, 2200 88th Ave. W., Rock Island. The public is welcome.
