“A sower went out to sow. As he sowed, some seed fell on the path... Other seed fell on rocky ground… some seed fell among the thorns… And some seed fell upon rich soil and produced fruit. It came up and grew and yielded thirty and sixty, and a hundredfold.”
This 24-hour Hiding Place Retreat will give us time to reflect on Mark 4:3-8.
What/who are the ‘birds’ in my life that take away what I hear from Christ? How is my heart and soul rocky and hard? What thorns do I have in my life that prevent God’s word to grow? What is needed and how can I become ‘rich soil,’ so as to have God’s word grow within me, producing fruit that yields thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold?
There will be times during this 24-hour retreat for group discussion and to contemplate how this verse fits into your faith-life.
